Partner organisations

Friends of the Earth is a leading environmental charity, which encourages people to see things differently. They work to find solutions to environmental problems that are right for people and for nature. We provide support for an exciting new Friends of the Earth project, which seeks to encourage policy makers and the wider public to engage more on the topic of wellbeing. This project is part of Friends of the Earth’s work on economics and the use of our natural resources.

Resurgence & Ecologist are pioneers in the environmental movement who have been instrumental in setting the environmental agenda for over 40 years – bringing critical issues into the mainstream through cutting-edge environmental journalism. We have provided support for the Resurgence Festival of Wellbeing, as well as supporting each other in our online communications and outreach. For more information on their work, please visit the Resurgence and the Ecologist websites.

Action for Happiness is a movement of people committed to building a happier society by making positive changes in their personal lives, homes, workplaces and communities. It has tens of thousands of members and hundreds of thousands of followers from over 100 different countries. We were proud to be a partner in the global campaign for International Day of Happiness, which was led by Action for Happiness.

Eating Better is a new alliance to help create an eating better food revolution. They promote eating less meat and more food that’s better for us and the planet, and show these to be vital steps towards a fair, green and healthy world. We are proud to be a partner network of Eating Better, and support the valuable work they are engaged in.

The Permaculture Association is a charity that supports people to learn about and use permaculture. They work across Britain and beyond to make a better world for all, using nature as their inspiration. We inspired the Permaculture Association to start their Permaculture Ambassadors scheme, and we continue to explore ways to support each other’s work.
