Join us for a Big Picnic: Sharing food, improving wellbeing

We all intuitively know that sharing good food and good company helps improve our wellbeing. We’d like to put this understanding into practice, and invite you to join us in coming together to share a Big Picnic on Sunday 2nd June, 12-2pm, at Follaton Arboretum, near Totnes. We are co-hosting this Big Picnic, together with the TTT Skillshare project, as part of The Big Lunch, which is a nationwide initiative launched at the Eden Project in 2009. The Big Lunch encourages people to get together with neighbours and enjoy “a simple act of community, friendship and fun”. This year this nationwide celebration takes place on June 2nd, which is also Global Sharing Day (now teamed with The Big Lunch).

Brunch Café Success!

Here at the Network of Wellbeing (NOW) we recently hosted a Brunch Café in Totnes, on Saturday 25th May 2013. Coming together around delicious locally sourced food, the event offered an opportunity to meet lots of interesting people, hear what the local community thinks about wellbeing, share details about NOW's work, and have lots of fun!

Join the Network of Wellbeing for good food and good company at the next Brunch Café in Totnes!

Delicious locally sourced food will be available when the Network of Wellbeing (also known as NOW) holds a brunch café on Saturday 25th May from 10am to 2pm at the Methodist Church Hall, on Fore Street, in Totnes. Everyone is welcome to this community event. Scrumptious locally sourced and home-made food, including chocolate croissants, Eggs Florentine, mushrooms on toast, and many other culinary delights will be on offer. Plus there will be live music to entertain you as you tuck into your delicious food. All dishes are available for a very reasonable price, and all proceeds will go towards the work NOW is doing to support community groups in Totnes.
