Activists, campaigners, volunteers and philanthropists do what we do because we want to make the world a better place. But the energy and focus required to make that happen is a constant priority, which means self-care can get lost along the way. To help support each other, we need to celebrate the work we do, build our communal and personal resilience, and create joy and fun in the process.
This day long workshop will run from 10am until 4.30pm, and will help give participants useful tools to ensure their activism is sustainable.
This event will be run by Kathryn Garnett, from Eden Project Communities, and Kate Macdonald, the founder of TimeBank Hull and East Riding.
